Aspirin Feast were a Seattle-area hardcore band with often political lyrics and a fast, gut-punching sound sometimes described as power-violence. They released the 7-song How Do You Call the Cops on the Cops in 1990, cop-hating being a favorite lyrical theme. After their split in ’92, Tim and Jim started a band called Chicken, which put out a split 7-inch, “Police Beat,” also containing two songs from Aspirin Feast’s 1990 demo. Bringers of anger chaos (not without cause). RIP: Mike Fischer
