Culprit was one of the Seattle area’s top metal bands of the ’80s, noted for playing original songs at a time most metal bands limited themselves to covers. They honed their chops on the suburban skating rink circuit and released the Guilty as Charged LP in 1983. Following their breakup in 1985, L’Heureux joined Mistrust, while Kristoffersen and Earl joined TKO, later moving to Hollywood to form the Bang Gang. Culprit later played a series of reunion shows with numerous lineup changes, with Earl as the sole original member. The current Culprit can be found on Facebook.
