Winning against time since 1984, Tacoma’s entertainment elite Girl Trouble is notable for many things - party favors for audiences, unbridled funtasticness, having a sister/brother combo in the band, and for being the first band to quit SubPop. So far, this rollicking garage band has released five albums, numerous singles, EPs, and compilation appearances and continues to delight with their high-octane live shows, reminiscent of the Sonics, the B52’s, the Monkees - retro dance-party music thrill ride with a backbone of steel.
