Sybil (Kill Sybil)

Once known simply as Sybil (before some twerp lounge singer of the same name made a stink about it) and forced by lousy Sybil to change the name, Kill Sybil played a kind of noisy, roughed-up pop with blaring guitars and female vocals (“two chicks and two dicks” was how they described themselves). They released one single and one self-titled album on eMpTy Records. They also earn a footnote in rock history for their drummer, Patty Schemel, who went on to drum for Courtney Love’s Hole. Balenseifen later formed the all-female Juned. Larry Schemel currently plays with “Death Valley Girls”
